A verified professional network for the entertainment industry talent, productions, and industry gatekeepers, with credentials checked against real industry data rather than self-reported claims.

Research
We started by defining three personas, Entertainment Talent, Gate Keepers, and Broadcasters, each with a distinct age range, top priority, and set of problems.
Feature decisions were weighed against these three groups individually, wand were given points before moving with an MVP. Most of what we could build, a competitor could eventually build too, however credential verification of real industry experience was the one thing that couldn't easily be bought or copied, that was our advantage.
Verification
Currently there is no way to validate credentials. No single platform to find work and connect at the same time.
When managing a big production it’s important to make sure people are who they say they are, so verification was one of the most important features of the app.
Identity, confirmed at the door. Registration required a government ID check with a live face scan, confirming not just that a document was real, but that the person holding it was.
Finding the best way to crosscheck information
More than just confirming if the user is a real person we needed to make sure that film credits were real, each movie has it’s own specific code that it’s registered and needs to be in crew contracts. A credit was automatically checked through productions that are already in TAP's database, cross-checking a code on the uploaded document. A production TAP had never seen before always went to manual review by the team.
Profile & documents
A profile built from verified credits, not an upload.
Every credit tied back to a verified production, with role tags and connections earned through the work itself. A contract uploaded and verified would not only serve as a credit but also would give you access to that production thread. If a production is in progress you would know who is in charge of what.
